Johnnie Ridge is the sixth grade teacher here at the
Joppa Maple Grove school district. Ms. Ridge is not married but has a
daughter that we all know at the high school. As Ms. Ridge was growing up,
she looked up to her mom. She attended Joppa High School where she
graduated, and then went to Murray State University. That was when she
became a teacher. She says she loves to teach math class out of all the
classes that she teaches. She says that she does not like try to teach
students who do not want to learn. Ms. Ridge has been a teacher for twenty
years and is still teaching.
