Mr. McKinney enjoys teaching his wonderful history
classes and likes to coach his teams.
McKinney grew up in Newton, IL and
graduated at Newton Community High School. After high school, he attended
Eastern IL University to become a history teacher. Later he married
Tara and presently they have no children.
As he was growing up he
looked up to his high school history teacher named Mr. Schulte which
McKinney says was a great history teacher. He likes to discuss history,
actually, he likes it so much that he has been doing it for six years and
is still chugging along.
